The 2025 NWCCN Conference will be held at Camp Arrah Wanna in Welches, OR.

Nestled in the foothills of majestic Mt. Hood, Camp Arrah Wanna is a non-profit that offers a quiet and peaceful place of respite from the busy, fast-paced world.

CONFERENCE DETAILS

The annual NWCCN conference is partially modeled after an unconference, with half of our conference workshops predetermined prior to the weekend, and the other half chosen on the first evening. If you are interested in presenting a workshop at this year’s conference, please submit a proposal below!

what is an unconference?

A typical conference has all of the sessions predetermined, which leaves little room for attendees to ensure they get their specific needs met. Using the unconference method, we come together on the first evening of the weekend to decide workshop session topics based on our needs as a group at that time. We have a vast range of knowledge and experience among our attendees and we collaborate to determine who would be best to lead the requested sessions. If there are more requests than session spaces, topics may be designated as table top discussions during meals.

COST TO ATTEND

NWCCN 2025 Prices:

Early Bird 🐓 (until July 7th): $230

Regular Bird 🦜 (July 7th - Oct. 8th): $255

Late Bird 🦉 (After Oct. 8th): $275

Student Bird 🐣 (Anytime!): $230

Scholarships are available to those who need additional financial support. Scholarship Application will be available Summer 2025

WHAT TO BRING

  • Pillow

  • Twin sheets and a blanket or sleeping bag

  • Towel and toiletries

  • Weather appropriate clothes and shoes

  • Extra layers (including rain gear)

  • Props and games

  • Beverages (adult and non-adult, as preferred)

  • Snacks

  • Notetaking materials

7:30pm - Evening Activities: Storytime + Open Mic

9:00am - Workshop Sessions (2)

1:00pm - Workshop Sessions (3)

5:30pm - Dinner

6:30pm - Business Meeting

7:30pm - Evening Activities: Games, Trivia, Time with Friends!

Sunday

8:00am - Breakfast

9:00 - Workshop Session (1)

10:30am - Closing Session

11:30am - Lunch & Depart

REFUND POLICY

  • Up to 14 days: Full Reimbursement

  • Within 14 days: 50% Reimbursement

  • Day of the Conference: No Refund, sorry!
